8th Annual North Hills Trunk or Treat set for Oct. 24

Get your costumes ready for a day of Halloween fun at the 8th Annual North Hills Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the North Hills High School parking lot. The event will be held rain or shine.

The free, family-friendly event invites children and families from across the North Hills community to trick or treat from decorated car trunks while enjoying music, food available for purchase and plenty of Halloween fun.

There will also be a basket raffle benefiting the North Hills Foundation, which supports North Hills students, staff and families. Want to donate to the basket raffle? Sign up here! We are also collecting concession stand donations. Visit this link to donate.

The event is free to attend, and no registration is required.

Want to Decorate a Trunk?

District groups, clubs, teams and organizations are invited to join the fun by decorating a vehicle and handing out candy. Participating groups should provide their own candy and are encouraged to choose a unique theme for their trunk. Groups without a vehicle to decorate can request a table instead.

Groups interested in participating should sign up here and indicate their planned theme.

Decorated trunks can also compete for prizes in six categories: Scariest Trunk, Spookiest Trunk, Cutest Trunk, Funniest Trunk, Most Creative Trunk and Best Overall Trunk. Groups wishing to participate in the contest should bring a container for guests to place voting tickets in and are welcome to create signs encouraging visitors to vote for their trunk.

Join us Oct. 24 for costumes, candy, creative trunks and a fun Halloween celebration with the North Hills community!
