Annual NHMS Snowball Dance to be held Feb. 6

The middle school's much-anticipated Snowball Dance will be held on Friday, Feb. 6. This semi-formal annual dance is for seventh and eighth grade NHMS students only from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Students can be dropped off the Annex gym doors beginning at 5 p.m.

Semi-formal attire includes dresses and collared shirts and slacks. Students may wear high heels to the dance but will be asked to remove stiletto or sharply-pointed heels prior to dancing on the gym floor.

Tickets are $10 each and will be on sale in the middle school auditorium between 7:30-7:50 a.m. on Feb. 4, 5 and 6. The cost of the ticket includes a drink and snack.

For pick up, eighth parents should arrive using the First Street entrance in Laurel Gardens. Seventh grade parents should arrive using the Rochester Road entrance. Parents should park in a space and wait outside their car. Complete pick up procedures, along with a map, can be found at this link.

Sixth Grade Dance

Sixth graders will have their own dance after school on the same day, Feb. 6, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets are $10 each and will be on sale in the middle school auditorium between 7:30-7:50 a.m. on Feb. 4, 5 and 6. The cost of the ticket includes a drink and pizza.

Dress is casual and sneakers are recommended. Shoes with a hard heel are prohibited.

For pick up, parents should arrive using the Rochester Road entrance and park in a parking spot outside the Annex gym as detailed here. Students will exit the Annex glass doors at 4 p.m. Students who are not picked up by 4:15 p.m. will not be permitted to attend the next dance or activity.

This event is for North Hills Middle School sixth graders only.
