The district's talented sixth grade orchestra students are taking their music on the road for their annual 6th Grade Orchestra Tour this Friday, Feb. 27.
They’ll perform at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh for the Saturday Light Brigade, at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and wrap up the day with a final performance at the Ross Community Center at 2:30 p.m.
The 2:30 p.m. performance is open to the public, and we’d love to see you there as our students share their hard work and talent with the community!
The Orchestra Tour is a highlight of the year, giving many sixth graders their first chance to perform outside of a school concert, building confidence, strengthening ensemble skills, and showing the joy of sharing music with others.
