Spring sports begin March 3
The spring sport season at North Hills is just around the corner with the first official day of the season on Monday, March 3. Interscholastic sports are open to students in grades 7-12 and the spring offerings for the middle school and high school are detailed below.
Student physical forms and all paperwork required to compete is collected online via Healthy Roster. All parents must create a Healthy Roster account and upload all required documentation. For complete instructions and a list of what’s required, click here.
North Hills’ annual Springs Sports Community Pep Rally will be held on Tuesday, March 11 at 7 p.m. in the middle school annex gym. Our high school spring sport athletes will be introduced and then compete in friendly games such as the limbo, dizzy bat race and pie eating contest to kick off the season.
Middle School (Grades 7-8)
At the middle school level, the North Hills School District sponsors baseball, softball, track and field and boys’ volleyball. Students must be in seventh or eighth grade to participate in middle school sports at NHSD, per the PIAA. The first official practice date for the 2025 spring sports season is Monday, March 3.
